Se per la Koston 1 il gemellaggio fu stretto con Kobe e la Kobe 7, per la Koston 2 Nike ed Eric Koston scelgono un partnership molto diversa ed apparentemente anche lontana, quella con Tiger Woods, il golf ed in particolare la Swingtip di Nike Golf. La Nike SB Koston 2 è molto simile alla Swingtip, sneaker da golf tributo alla classica wingtip, tutti sappiamo che Eric Koston è anche appassionato e giocatore di golf non che amico di Tiger Woods, quello che non sappiamo è che anche Tiger skateava.
