Innanzitutto Puma ha deciso che era il momento di collaborare conHypebeast alla realizzazione di 2 versioni della propria storica sneaker running: la “BLAZE OF GLORY”, un po’ per richiamarne i concetti, un po’ per dare onore e merito ad HB. Chiunque sia interessato al mondo LIFESTYLE conosce sicuramente Hypebeast, per gli altri, posso solo dire che è uno dei contenitori on line di news (provenienti dal settore) più forte degli ultimi tempi. La sede di HB è ad Hong Kong e le origini della sede hanno forte influenza su questa collaborazione, infatti, il significato del “DIM SUM“, può essere tradotto con “toccare il cuore” della cultura culinaria della città e dello stile di vita locale. Sulla base di questa riflessione e del collegamento tra città e cultura, Hypebeast ha preso come ispirazione massima gli ingredienti più conosciuti e amati dalla popolazione per preparare il Dim Sum: Siu Mai, ravioli di carne di maiale e Har Gao, ravioli ai gamberetti. Il cibo è una componente importante dell cultura locale e perciò, da questo senso di rispetto ed appartenenza, ecco le 2 nuove nate: La ‘Siu Mai’ Blaze of Glory OG e la ‘Har Gao’ Blaze of Glory LTWT. Ogni paio di scarpe verrà venduto in uno speciale packaging con pattern di bambu che richiama il motivo dei vassoi sui quali viene servito solitamente il Dim Sum. In Italia è prevista l’ uscita per il 17 maggio in esclusiva da Back Door a Bologna.

First of all Puma decided that it was time to collaborate with Hypebeast for realizing two versions of the historical running sneakers made by his company: “BLAZE OF GLORY”, for recalling the concepts and for giving honor and merit to HB. People who are interested to the world of LIFESTYLE certainly knows Hypebeast, for the other ones, I can only say that it is one of the most visited online magazines (coming from this sector) in recent years. HB office is in Hong Kong and the place of origin has a great influence on this collaboration. In fact, the meaning of “DIM SUM” could be translated in “touch the art” of Hong Kong cooking art and of the local lifestyle. On the base of this reflection and of connection between city and culture, Hypebeast took as the maximum inspiration the most famous ingredients that population love more for preparing the Dim Sum: Siu Mai, ravioli stuffed with meat of pork and Har Gao, ravioli stuffed with prawns. Eating is an important element for local culture and, for this reason, it gives a sense of respect and appearance. So, here you are the last new creations: “Siu Mai” Blaze of Glory OG and “Har Gao” Blaze of Glory LTWT. Each pair of shoes will be sent in a special packaging with bamboo patterns that recall the ones of dishes where Dim Sum is usually served. They are going to come to Italy, too, on the 17th of May in an exclusive edition to Back Door, in Bologna.
