Margaret Howell è una stilista britannica che ha decisamente influenzato la moda inglese per almeno quattro decadi.
Nel 2006 le fù addirittura richiesto di disegnare le uniformi del Victoria & Albert Museum che sono ancora in uso.
Nella collezione Primavera Estate 2013 tiene decisamente fede alle sue origini, presentandoci una collezione che definirei più autunnale, in linea con il tempo che ci ha accompagnato sino a qualche settimana fà, che estiva. Sia per i colori utilizzati, grigio e nero in prevalenza, sia per la tipologia dei capi proposti.Trench, giacche jeans lunghe, jeans a vita alta, camicie, abbinati in maniera che, quantomeno noi italiani, utilizzeremo più in periodi più freschi rispetto all’estate. Le forme sono sia slim che morbide, rinnovando l’effetto, la sensazione, che chi le indossa sia fuori stagione.

In Spring Summer 2013 collection she definitely keeps faith to her roots, presenting a collection that I would define more autumn, in line with the time that there was until a few weeks ago, than summer. Both for the colors used, gray and black in prevalence, both for the type of clothes offered. Trench coats, long jackets jeans, high-waisted jeans, shirts, combined in a way that, at least we Italians, we will use more in the cooler months than in summer. The forms that are both slim soft, renewing effect, the feeling that who is wearing is out of season.
