Venerdì 11 Ottobre inaugurerà 80s 90s Facing Beauties, mostra incontro tra l’estremo oriente ed il fascino italiano. Un unione tra innovazione e classicismo che raggiunge l’apice tra la decade più glam e quella più grunge in un accordo a metà tra tradizione italiana e futurismo giapponese che a Parigi raggiunge l’apice.
Cos’hanno in comune Armani con Miyake, Versace con Yamamoto? Un intero mondo fatto di forme da scoprire e riscoprire nella cornice del Museo della Città a Rimini. Un progetto curato da Università di Bologna – corso triennale e magistrale in Culture e Tecniche della moda, parte della rassegna Rimini.Risvolti dell’abito, che aprirà i battenti tra pochi giorni con la presentazione ufficiale nella quale saranno presenti anche Akiko Fukai director e chief curator del Kyoto Costume Institute, Tamami Suoh curator del Kyoto Costume Institute , Attilio Mazzini ed il designer Romeo Gigli.

Friday, October 11 will be open 80s 90s Facing Beauties, exhibition meeting between the Far East and the Italian charm. A union between innovation and classicism that reached its peak between the most glam decade and the most grunge years in an agreement between Italian tradition and Japanese Futurism that in Paris reaches its peak.
What do they have in common Miyake with Armani, Versace with Yamamoto? A whole world of forms to discover and rediscover in the backdrop of the Museum of the City in Rimini. A project curated by University of Bologna – BA and MA Culture and Techniques of fashion, which will open its doors in a few days with the official presentation in which there will also be Akiko Fukai, director and chief curator of the Kyoto Costume Institute, Tamami Suoh curator of the Kyoto Costume Institute, Attilio Mazzini and the designer Romeo Gigli.
