Un po’ di violenza mista a ironia e fancazzismo non guasta ogni tanto. C’è da dire che tutte queste caratteristiche spesso vengono considerate come una cosa volgare, facile da fare, e senza troppo studio, come se l’intrattenimento fine a se stesso sia per forza una nota negativa nel diario.
Fortunatamente l’illustrazione non vive solamente di progetti concettuali, linee pulite, tratti ricercati e design da/per giovani supergiovani e meno giovani, ma anche di lavori come quello di Pete Murgatroyd.
Roba tosta, acida, piena di riferimenti, underground e sporca con i suoi colori pop che più pop non si può.
