Todd Snyder è uno stilista americano, è infatti nato in Iowa, il cui cognome in olandese significa “colui che fa indumenti esterni”. E devo dire che li fa decisamente bene!. La sua moda trae ispirazione dall’artigianato di Savile Row, via del centro di Londra sede dei più importanti e conosciuti laboratori sartoriali, alla sartoria militare e con un occhio allo stile newyorkese.
La sua collezione Autunno Inverno 2013 ci propone decadi di moda maschile, ripresi e rivisti in chiave moderna. Sembra un percorso nel tempo, andando a pescare i capi che più hanno rappresentato l’epoca immaginaria di riferimento, ma rivisti con attenzione per i particolari, arricchiti con dettagli, rendendo il capo estremamente moderno ed attuale, in maniera molto interessante ed originale.
I colori sono molto eleganti e sobri, l’accostamento è raffinato, non cerca di stupire ma di insegnare uno stile di essere, in maniera gentile e gradevole. Personalmente non riesco a trovare un capo che spicchi più degli altri, perchè mi piace veramente tutta la collezione. Lascio a voi ogni ulteriore giudizio.

His fashion draws inspiration from craftsmanship of Savile Row, the downtown London street seat of the most important and well known tailors, and military tailoring with an eye to the New York style. His Autumn Winter 2013 collection offers us decades of men’s fashion, incorporated and revised in a modern key. It looks like a journey through time, going to fish the leaders who most represented the era of imaginary reference, but revised with attention to detail, enriched with details, making the items extremely modern and contemporary, in a way very interesting and original. The colors are very simple and elegant, the approach is refined, not trying to impress but to teach a way of being, in a polite and pleasant way. Personally, I can not find an item that stands out more than the others, because I really like the whole collection. I leave you any further judgment.
