Si sa di riviste che si dedicano al mondo del design, ce ne sono molte e spesso i temi trattati sono molto simili tra loro e a volte confessiamolo anche ripetitivi. Per caso però circa un mese fa mi sono imbattuta in INVENTARIO. Tutto è progetto, edito da Corraini; che non si autodefinisce né rivista né libro ma un “nuovo progetto editoriale che getta uno sguardo illuminato e libero sulla scena del design, dell’architettura e dell’arte”. La definizione di INVENTARIO sul vocabolario d’altronde è:
inventàrio s. m. dal lat. tardo inventarium (der. di inventus, part. pass. di invenire «trovare»), propr. «elenco, registro per trovare ciò che è in un dato luogo».
Ed è proprio questo attraverso diverse rubriche che INVENTARIO si propone di fare e fa pagina dopo pagina attraverso svariati argomenti ma partendo da un denominatore comune, una sorta di fil rouge che segue, ad esempio nell’ultimo volume uscito l’oggetto preso in esame è il libro inteso come universo di cose e azioni progettuali. La sensazione che INVENTARIO offre è quella di una ricerca vera e propria a 360° della realtà che ci circonda descritta con qualità, immagini, testi e illustrazioni ben assortite tra loro che riescono a incantare il lettore e a fargli trovare meno banale la realtà che ci circonda.
We all know that there are many magazines that are dedicated to the design world and often the themes are very similar to each other and sometimes even we’ve to admit they are repetitive. However about a month ago I found INVENTARIO. Everything is a project, published by Corraini, which defines itself neither magazine nor book but a “new editorial initiative, casting a critical and free-thinking eye over the design scene, architecture and art”. The definition of vocabulary INVENTARIO on the other hand is:
inventàrio s. m. from lat. late inventarium (der. of inventus , part. pass . invenire of “finding”), Net. “list , register to find out what is in a given place.”
It is through various entries that INVENTARIO proposes to do and do page after page through a variety of topics but from a common denominator, a sort of leitmotif that follows; for example, in the last content the selectioned object is book intended as a universe of things and planning actions. The feeling that INVENTARIO offers is a genuine 360° research of the reality that surrounds us described with quality, images, text and illustrations well-matched to each other that succeed to enchant the reader and make the reality that surrounds us less trivial to the reader.
