A volte bastano tre (3) lettere per alterare il significato di un concetto e crearne uno nuovo. Ma come? Non era “handle with care“? Ecco che bastano una O una U e una T e quello che viene fuori è qualcosa al di fuori delle regole e di inaspettato. Qualcosa che alle nostre orecchie suona come un meccanismo che si inceppa e ci fa rileggere la frase per essere sicuro di aver letto correttamente: “Handle Without Care“. Sì, è giusto.
Nel caso di Crash Baggage, giovane ma ormai avviato progetto italiano, non si vuole solamente inceppare, ma si vuole proprio ammaccare. Parliamo di valigie già rovinate, come direbbe un mio amico: “bocciate”. Come direi io: vissute. Ma è un vissuto che nasconde (e nemmeno troppo) un’idea di progettazione che sposta l’attenzione dal “devo stare attento a non rovinarla” al “come posso rovinarla più di cosi”.
Un oggetto che più che a guardare al presente, si rivolge al futuro. Prendiamola quindi come una sorta di sfida, un’opportunità per rendere l’oggetto un compagno di viaggi da maltrattare, da far vivere. E credetemi, dovrete farne di voli prima di non riconoscerlo più.
Il trolley infatti è realizzato in Abs/Policarbonato, una plastica resistente agli urti, estremamente forte e leggera. Quattro ruote multidirezionali consentono di girare a 360 gradi. Una tasca, un divisorio porta abiti e due cinghie che consentono di riporre i vestiti occupando meno spazio.
