Christian Stearry è un illustratore di circa 20 anni con base a Toronto. La sua arte è fortemente influenzata dal mondo della strada ed in particolare dallo skateboarding, infatti la maggior parte dei soggetti sono skaters.
In un mondo in cui quasi tutti si avvalgono di software grafici per realizzare le proprie opere, C.S. ritrae i suoi soggetti esclusivamente a mano libera, matita e pennello, riuscendo a trasmettere in modo molto diretto l’aria vissuta di ogni personaggio, tramite i segni sulla pelle, l’accurata definizione dei tatuaggi, delle capigliature e l’usura degli indumenti.

Christian Stearry is a 2o years old illustrator Toronto based. His art is heavily influenced by the streets and skateboarding in particular by the fact the majority of his subjects are skaters. In a world where almost everybody create their own works using graphic softwares, C. S. portrays his subjects exclusively freehand, pencil and brush, managing to convey in a very direct way the aged look of each character by painting in a very accurate way the marks on the skin, tattoos, hairstyles and clothing rips.
