(R)evolution is the only solution. The biggest mistake that a human being can do to (its) culture is to believe that this is something not related to the time in which he lives. Culture, my friends, is not having a full library of books and even go to see all the shows that your city offers. Let me be clear, none of this is wrong, but I don’t have to say it to you, the last blonde arrived. What is certain is that those who succumb to the past leaves its culture in a field of weeds. I stop to get bored and get straight to the point: how many of you still do not have Twitter? Step One: badly. Step two: Twitter is one of the ingredients of the future, nor am I to tell you this, and thanks to an opposable thumb and an internet network. Even museums around the world have realized the potential , almost endless, have teamed up and organized a thing called #MuseumWeek. From 24 to 30 March. What’s this? First of all, the desire to rejuvenate the idea of the museum made of walls and cobwebs. More precisely, an unprecedented project designed to disseminate new content, show the ‘behind the scenes’ of the life museum and interact with the audience following a different theme each day for seven consecutive days.
Obviously in that parallel digital universe of Twitter. There are no Tom, Dick and Harry, indeed the Tate Modern Gallery (@Tate), the Louvre Museum (@MuseeLouvre), the D’Orsay (@MuseeOrsay), the Reina Sofía (@museoreinasofia), and many other. Yes, there are also the italians: from Museo del Novecento (@museodel900) to Museo delle Scienze di Trento (@MUSE_Trento), or Palazzo Madama di Torino (@palazzomadamato) to the Sistema Museale di Roma Capitale (@museiincomune), which with its 48.476 follower (but starting from tomorrow ther will be more) is the first italian museum, born in 2008 to promote events and spread the voice of the italian artist. Also promoted by the Ministero dei Beni and by the Attività Culturali e del Turismo italiano, which partecipated with its own account (@Mi_BACT). What would you ask, find during this #MuseumWeek? Saturady 29: MuseumSelfies (#MuseumSelfies), do you need and explenation?;
Sunday 30: The limitations encourage creativity (#GetCreative), the public is invited to participate by bringing into play inventiveness and desire to tell.
