Once it was called “La Posta”, because it was a stop-over where travelers used to take a break during their journeys and where people used to switch horses guiding the coach, just before leaving the Montefeltro and heading towards Umbria. Today it is called the “Diligenza” and it is a tavern in its deepest and most authentic meaning. But nowadays, there are way far more reasons to stop and have a break of a few days in this corner of Montefeltro region, right on the boundaries between Marche, Umbria and Toscana. Borgo Pace is the name of the village and it means “village of peace”, to express the real personality of this small hamlet, peaceful and relaxing. As in all the villages of our country, even in Borgo Pace the tavern “La Diligenza” represents the core of local life.
