Fashion is fun…

And here comes the cold… and winter, darkness, and dim colours … brrr.
One among the many trends of this autumn/winter season will surely be “fun fashion”.
Let’s open the doors then to puppets, cartoon, manga and “blinding-colours” printed lettering!
But – mind you – this trend is not for everyone, on the contrary, it is just for the few: the young, the very young.

Many designers have already interpreted this mood on the catwalks, the first being Jeremy Scott, for the fashion house Moschino, who has launched its fast fashion show, using a mix of yellow and red, Mac Donalds style, as well as a cartoonish dotted yellow, Spongebob style.

Even Chanel has given it a go, with fashionmarket but, luckily, they’ve only applied it to some accessories, wrapping – for instance – some 2:55 with cellophane…

So the mix and match is not to be encouraged, though we get to see it around anyway!

Try to limit all this explosive irony only to individual garments or accessories, such as a t-shirt or a skirt!

We’ve picked for you the Spongebob dress, by Moschino, already seen on the catwalks and the Au Jour le Jour t-shirt, by the omnipresent Chiara Ferragni, whose puppets pattern have become her distinctive mark. And then you have donuts socks with embroidered donuts, skirts with hearts, Mickey Mouse hat and fabulous gloves “french fries” style!
Fashion may well has become fun, but that doesn’t mean you have to dress up like a clown!
