La campagna umbra è esplosione di verde, in tutte le stagioni. Le dolci colline si susseguono fino a formare paesaggi unici al mondo, i loro profili sono come dune in mezzo a un’infinita distesa di natura viva.

Il recupero è stato totale proprio per ricreare l’atmosfera antica che vi regnava un tempo. La cura nei minimi dettagli, l’armonia nelle forme, il susseguirsi caotico, ma allo stesso tempo ordinato degli oggetti antichi sulle mensole e alle pareti, conferiscono a questa struttura un carattere forte, deciso ed estremamente accogliente.
L’accoglienza è proprio uno dei punti di forza di questo AD, malgrado le abitazioni e le camere siano sparse all’interno della tenuta, ci si sente come a casa, in un atmosfera calda e raccolta. Fin dal primo risveglio si viene infatti viziati con una colazione abbondante e particolarmente gustosa, grazie alle marmellate e ai formaggi caserecci.
La sera si trascorre nella locanda, e durante la stagione autunnale si ha il lusso di cenare di fianco all’ampio camino che riscalda tutto l’ambiente. Piatti tipici umbri, prodotti per il 70% dall’ Ad che si ricorda, è anche azienda agricola. Dai salumi nostrani, passando per le verdure del loro orto e dai formaggi di loro produzione, senza dimenticarsi poi l’eccellente olio umbro, le deliziose carni alla brace, il tutto accompagnato da un bel calice di Sangiovese Umbro oppure di Sagrantino. Claudio Fabrizi, insieme alla sua famiglia non mancherà certo di raccontare aneddoti interessanti e di trasmettere ai suoi ospiti l’amore per la propria terra.
In realtà, una volta che si soggiorna ne La Malvarina, non si viene più trattati come semplici turisti, ma come veri e propri invitati in famiglia e sicuramente l’esperienza si rivelerà unica, autentica e indimenticabile, come vuole la filosofia degli Alberghi Diffusi.
The Umbrian countryside is a green explosion, all long the four seasons. The rounded hills come one after the other until they create unique and unforgettable landscapes, their shapes are like sand hills in the middle of an endless sweep of pure nature.
Right in the middle of these rural scenery, the Albergo Diffuso La Malvarina rises between narrow small streets and flourishing valleys. It is a countryside Albergo Diffuso, derived from an ancient Umbrian estate in which the old farmhouses and the stables have been renovated. The recovery has been total, just to remake the ancient atmosphere that used to reign in it.
The care in the small details, the harmony in shapes and the objects on the walls follow one each others in a chaotic but tidy way. All these things contribute to create a strong and welcoming atmosphere. The welcoming is one of the strong points of this Albergo Diffuso, even if the houses are spread all over the property, it always feels like at home, in a warm and cosy atmosphere. From the early morning the owners pamper their guests with a big and tasty breakfast where you can try the home-made jams and cheese. The evening has to be spent inside the tavern, in which during the Fall season you can have dinner next to the warm fireplace. Here you can taste typical umbrian dishes produced at least for the 70% by La Malvarina which is also a farm, from the local cold cuts, passing throught the homegrown vegetables and cheese, tasting some delicious grilled meat and excellent Umbrian olive oil served with a glass of Sangiovese or Sagrantino. Claudio Fabrizi and his family will tell you interesting stories and they will fascinate guests with the love for their own country.
