Nike SB nasceva nel 2002, in dieci anni di vita, oltre ai modelli, sono variate anche i colori delle scatole fino alla versione attuale con la parziale scomparsa del reparto skateboarding che ha lasciato la sua eredità alla neonata Nike Action Sportswear.

Partendo dalla più classica delle Nike, la Dunk, sempre presente in tutte le collezioni SB, sia in versione low che high, e alla Url, la shoe box ai tempi era arancione/rosso.

Nel 2003 si passa a una shoe box argento, che durerà anche per tutto il 2004, durate questo biennio vedono la luce modelli quali la Zoom fc, la Angus, la Delta Force.

Dal 2005 la shoe box diventa rosa, vengono introdotti modelli innovativi e nuovi classici vengo riadattati allo skateboarding, come la Blazer, la Classic, e il primo pro model di Paul Rodriguez.

Dal 2006 fino al 2007 diventa nera e viola, tra i modelli degni di nota di quelle annate di sicuro la Zoom Tre, la prima Team edition e la Trainer Sb.

2008 significa nuovo cambiamento, la shoe box diventa oro.

L’ultima scatola che si ricordi marchiata Nike Sb, una delle piu longeve, è sicuramente la blu e bianca, scatola con la quale vedono la luce modelli come le Janoski, le Koston e le Salazar.
Quest’anno con l’abdicare di Nike Sb in favore della sezione Action Sportswear ecco arrivare il definitivo restiling che la fa assomigliare per colore a una classica box Nike .
