Inspired from the gleaming frontages of the fishermen’s small village of Burano that allow sailors to find back their own in case of fog, the BWGH Spring/Summer 2013 Collection is full of warm shades and sensual cloth, a lot like those welcoming houses which sailors gone to sea dream of. After inviting the man to travel, BWGH welcomes him back and celebrates his return by offering him a wardrobe made of fabrics brought back from Japan or United Kingdom, braids made from rope and accessories in calf-velvet or wax cotton. A wardrobe made for all of his life on solid ground’s occasions : work or formal jacket, button down shirt or clouded tee-shirt, pants or shorts, light knit or sweat-shirt. Ispirato dalle facciate luccicanti del piccolo villaggio di pescatori di Burano che permettono ai marinaidi ritrovare la propria via in caso di nebbia, la Primavera/Estate 2013 di BWGH – Brooklyn We go Hard è piena di colori caldi e tessuti sensuali, un po’ come quelle case accoglienti che i marinai sognano una volta in mare. Dopo aver invitato l’uomo a viaggiare, BWGH lo accoglie e festeggia il suo ritorno offrendogli un guardaroba fatto di tessuti made in Giappone e Regno Unito, trecce in corda ed accessori in pelle. Un guardaroba fatto per la terraferma e non solo. Il Lookbook di BWGH è stato scattato a Burano da Paul Arnaud.
