Presentata lo scorso autunno, è finalmente arrivata nei negozi la nuova collezione di make up di Yves Saint Laurent dedicata alla primavera 2013. Il nome, Arty Stone richiama immediatamente le tonalità delle pietre preziose e dei minerali che hanno ispirato Lloyd Simmonds, make up creative director di YSL Beauté:
“Quarzo rosa, ametista, pirite, malachite, azzurrite e giada possiedono un’ipnotica bellezza. Tenendo queste pietre preziose in mano è possibile percepire la loro luce ed energia, come fossero vere e proprie galassie. La loro cristallina purezza e voluttuosa opalescenza sono state il punto di partenza per la creazione dellook primaverile 2013 per Yves Saint Laurent”.
La collezione si compone di tre blush, tre rossetti sheer super idratanti, due matite occhi e un mascara colorato, due smalti, un illuminante e una palette di ombretti. Immancabili le celebri tinte per labbra, in quattro nuovi colori.
Le tonalità di rosa, viola, azzurro e verde permettono di realizzare un look colorato ma al tempo stesso sofisticato, adatto sia per il giorno che per la sera.
Se il rosa è una scelta prevedibile per le proposte primaverili di make up e non solo, le vere novità di quest’anno sono il verde, dichiarato da Pantone colore del 2013, e il viola malva per le labbra, che molto probabilmente vedremo anche in altre collezioni.
Unveiled last autumn, it’s finally available in the stores the new Yves Saint Laurent make up collection dedicated to Spring 2013. Its name, Arty Stone, immediately recalls the tones of precious gems and minerals that inspired Lloyd Simmonds, make up creative director at YSL Beauté: “Pink quartz, amethyst, pyrite, malachite, azurite, jade, each possesses a hypnotic beauty. When you hold them in your hands, these precious stones diffuse energy and light, like galaxies. Their crystalline purity and voluptuous opalescence were the departure point for the creation of the Spring Look 2013 for Yves Saint Laurent.” The collection includes three blushes, three sheer ultra-moisturizing lipsticks, two eye pencils and a colored mascara, two nail lacquers, a face highlighter and an eyeshadows palette. Last but not least, the famous glossy stain lipsticks, in four new colors. The shades of pink, violet, light blue and green create a colored, still sophisticated look, suitable for both day and evening. If pink is a predictable choice for spring make up collections, what’s new this year is green, declared as color of 2013 by Pantone, and mauve violet for the lips, which will probably be proposed by other brands too.
