Studente alla Royal College of Art di Londra ma originario della Scozia, si è reso protagonista di un progetto alquanto eccentrico e originale: la Bicycle Taxidermy.
In poche parole, prendendo ispirazione dai macabri trofei di caccia, Regan crea una targa commemorativa con tanto di nome e date personalizzate sulla quale monta il manubrio della bicicletta defunta, a imperituro ricordo delle sue imprese. Il servizio è disponibile anche online: basta scegliere tra le due diverse versioni di targa proposta – legno scuro o rovere sbiancato – , creata appositamente da un artigiano locale, inserire il proprio epitaffio e la base con tutto il necessaire per attaccare il manubrio viene spedita a casa.
In alternativa è possibile scegliere tra i ‘trofei’ già creati da Regan e scelti accuratamente tra i modelli di manubrio che secondo lui meglio si adattano allo scopo. Buon divertimento!
