Qual è il suono della tua città? Probabilmente il primo che ci verrebbe in mente potrebbe essere il traffico se ci troviamo in un grosso centro abitato, ma se invece fossimo a Montreal? Ecco in questo caso un suono ce l’avremmo completamente diverso soltanto in primavera (quale primavera?) durante il Montréal’s Quartier des spectacles, quartiere interamente dedicato alla cultura ed all’intrattenimento. Ed é qui che 21 Swings (21 Balançoires) prende vita grazie ad una installazione di 21 Altalene che formano uno strumento musicale interattivo in cui ognuno può creare la propria musica. Creato Mouna Andraos e Melissa Mongiat dello studio di design Daily tous les jours é in cantiere anche un suo rifacimento all’estero, magari non legato solo alla primavera visto che da queste parti non sappiamo più cosa sia…
What is the sound of your city? Probably the first one would think that there would be traffic if we are in a big town, but if we were in Montreal? Here in this case we would sound completely different only in the spring (what spring?) during Montreal’s Quartier des spectacles, district dedicated to the culture and entertainment. And it is here that 21 Swings (21 Balançoires) comes to life thanks to an installation of 21 Swings forming an interactive musical instrument in which everyone can create their own music.
