Cristina Spanò è una di quelle autrici che mi piacciono al primo incontro. Oltre a essere membro fondatore di Teiera, è anche un’ottima guida per i locali di Barcellona, città dove attualmente risiede.
Se c’è una cosa che amo in un’autrice, poi, è la capacità di mutare nel segno e nella tecnica. Così Cristina può creare personaggi grotteschi e caricaturali in bianco e nero, come nei suoi primi fumetti, oppure abbandonarsi ai toni acquerellati che contraddistinguono i suoi ultimi lavori. Dopo numerose storie brevi, autoprodotte o pubblicate in varie antologie, finalmente è attesa alla definitiva consacrazione con la graphic novel “Intime Camere”, in uscita a novembre in Spagna e Francia per Alter Comics.
