Lo scorso 4-5 Ottobre sono stato in Slovenia per la presentazione del progetto Healthy Seas, iniziativa internazionale per il recupero delle reti da pesca, tra i quali promotori troviamo l’italiana Aquafil che con ECONYL® da nuova vita al nylon 6 presente appunto nelle reti.
Riusciamo a vedere la pagliuzza nell’occhio di chi ci sta affianco e non ci accorgiamo della trave presente nel nostro, ebbene se vi dicessi che nei nostri mari sono presenti 640 mila tonnellate di reti abbandonate che effetto vi farebbe? I numeri e le cifre presentati durante il lancio di Healthy Seas hanno rimarcato la necessità di cambiare abitudini, di essere sostanzialmente più responsabili, non solo a parole ma con i fatti; in pochi mesi, grazie al contributo di aziende che hanno creduto nel progetto come Ecnc Group, Star Sock, Fonda, Nofir e molti altri, é stato possibile raccogliere finora 20 tonnellate dai mari, un piccolo passo che nei mesi in avvenire andrà ad aumentare grazie all’estensione del progetto anche in altre regioni. Ma quando si parla di ecologia non posso che lasciarvi all’articolo di Marina Perrotta di Ecoblog, presente insieme a me ed ad altri giornalisti / blogger, che mi ha iniziato a guardare al mondo green con occhi nuovi. Questo é solo inizio….
