The Passenger | Cup for whom?

Great truths are written on the walls, I think. I had never been to Brazil and I spent most of my summer last year, time spent working and watching the wall filled by two slogans: Copa par quem? (Cup for whom? ) and Mais amor por favor (More love please). These two sentences are directly linked to the historic of a country that is as big as a continent. The first one (Copa par quem? ) recalls the protests in the squares against the football world cup that is about to start, the second one (Mais amor por favor) would be a must for all seasons and a nice tattoo to be made but it describes exactly the urgency of a nation that is accustomed to living together with violence. Before my recent trips Brazil for me was: Copacabana told in the 80s by Beppe Grillo who was still a comedian, Rio Carnival, Paulo Roberto Falcao, Toquinho, Caetano Veloso, Adriana Lima, Ze’ Pequeno, the commander Nascimento and O Bahiano……
