Pontus Alv, chief of Polar Skates Co. has directed the short film “Manhattan Days”, a year after the release of “Trocadero Days” set in Paris, in collaboration with Cons.
The approach of the video is very different from the skate videos that we are used to see these days: his inspiration from ’85’s “NYC section – Future Primitive”, rejects the division in video part for each skater, to show the reality of skateboarding in a crew.
Pontus Alv, Aaron Herrington, Kevin Rodriguez, Dane Brady, David Stenstrom and Jerome Campbell running around Manhattan with 2 diamond panels, a shopping cart and a pole adapted for each spot. In addition to the video the two brands have collaborated to create a shoes and clothing collection.
