Quando si tratta di dettagli non si sa mai come bisogna comportarsi. Aggiungere montagne di cose per renderli visibili e evidenti oppure all’inverso lavorare per sottrazione, seguendo il concetto del “less is more”.
Personalmente non ho mai amato i barocchismi, mi sembra che il più delle volte appesantiscano la creazione e fanno annegare in un mare di inutilità proprio quello che vorremmo fosse un valore aggiunto come il dettaglio.
Il lavoro di Nadine Gerber è sicuramente un esempio di come non serve disegnare molto per comunicare qualcosa in modo efficace. Al centro del suo progetto oggetti di consumo quotidiano vengono illustrati senza colori, rispettandone le pieghe e forme.
