I protagonisti dell’episodio di House Of Style nell’inverno del 1990 sono poco più che vent’enni, la super model Cindy Crawford visita il set di “The Fresh Prince”, epica serie con protagonista Will Smith, tutt’ora viva nella nostra memoria, almeno nella mia, con un po’ di nostalgia per quella “golden era” che ho potuto vivere da bambino.
Ora con più consapevolezza di ciò che fu, anche solo pochi minuti di questo video possono riportarmi indietro ed emozionarmi davanti al sapore vintage della puntata, c’è di mezzo un pò di tutto del costume anni ’90: l’hip-hop, le sneakers, il lusso degli interni, le super modelle, la moquette, i tagli flat top, i doppi petti e le fantasie estreme dei capi di Willy. Tutto sommato, anche se Cindy con un paio di Air Jordan V OG mi lascia senza fiato, il motivo per cui sto mandando in loop questo video da giorni è senza dubbio la spensieratezza e sicurezza che mi trasmette la vera atmosfera 90’s.

Now with more awareness of what was, even just a few minutes of this video can bring me back in time and get me emotional in front of the vintage flavor of the episode, there’s everything from 90’s costume: hip-hop, sneakers, classic luxury interiors, super models, carpet, flat tops, double breasted jackets and willy’s crazy textured clothes. All in all, though seeing Cindy in a pair of Air Jordan V OG leaves me breathless, the reason why I’ve been watching this video in loop for days is the carefree and security that the real taste of 90’s gives me.
